National Ranking – Key Metrics

Source: NHS England (various). RTT, A&E, Cancer and FDS from Oversight Framework Q4 2025/26 (as at March 2026; Sheffield RTT not published in this metric — see note below). Sickness from ESR, November 2025 (not yet refreshed to March 2026 — see note below). Staff engagement from NHS Staff Survey 2024. Median/quartile benchmarks from ~130 acute trusts. Note: NOF metric values are from Q4 2025/26 and may differ from the latest monthly figures shown elsewhere on this dashboard.

Two data-currency notes on this chart: (1) Sheffield's RTT 18-week figure is not published in the NOF Q4 file (consistent with the known RTT submission issue noted on the RTT page) — shown as N/A rather than estimated. (2) The sickness absence comparator still reflects November 2025 trust values and national quartiles; updating it to March 2026 (already current on the Workforce page) would require recomputing quartiles across ~130 acute trusts from the full ESR file, which wasn't part of this update.
